Joy San Garbriel cake for my Daughter's Wedding

      The Center Piece of the Wedding (Marc & Michelle Teng Wedding). On top of the cake are really fruit. And the cupcake serve as souvenir for guest. The reason I want to blog about this cake because of the different surprises found inside the cupcake. It's not your regular cupcake and icing with decoration.

         The close up view of the cupcake in chocolate and regular but check out below what's inside the cupcake.

      This is not your regular sponge cake type of cupcake as you will see below there are like graham cracker and the taste of the cupcake is like cheese cake  with a filling inside. Just a guess it taste like dulce de leche.

      This one is your regular sponge type of cupcake with strawberry filling without the graham cracker beneath.

      This cupcake is made of regular sponge cake with graham cracker beneath it but overflowing with strawberry filling.

      This one the best chocolate cupcake with a whole chunk of chocolate inside it and it's not even what they call molten lava as the chocolate is whole. This is the first cupcake I ate but when I discover a big chunk of chocolate I decided to blog about it and let other discover some of the surprises. Never even thought the the regular cupcake have other surprises inside.

                    This one is just plain cream cheese with graham cracker crust.

      The Menu board upon entering the shop. My kids love their longaniza which is a bit expensive which cost around P600.00/ kg.

                       The Longaniza and the pork leg both have the same price.

      This is what the pork leg looks like when chop. No Bones inside !!

            Their Pata Tim without the sauce. You can recook it and add some sauce for use as stuffing in Cuapao or mantou bread.

      Their different type of Kikiam : crab, pork and chicken. It is sold per roll.

      The other delicacy being sold :  banana chip, taro cake, ham and the different pork flosses.

      The different kind of cook food being sold in their store. It is being sold per 1/4 kg.

       Their Taro Puff one order actually has 2 piece of Taro puff the outer skin is really made of taro and it's flaky on the outside with meat filling on the inside serve with Hoisin sauce

      Our other dimsum order the Beef Siomai, shrimp siomai (with whole shrimp stuff in the middle) and Sio Long Bao.  There are actually different Siomai at Luck Garden. The regular siomai, beef siomai Japanese Siomai, shrimp siomai and century egg siomai.

My son journey to a weight loss

 This is my son 2 years ago who almost reach a weight of 165 pound or more.

      This is his picture last year that he gradually lost pound on his own without any diet pill or gym membership.

     And this is his latest picture take last December 17,2011 on his sister wedding with a weight of 140 I think. And he still trying to maintain it by watching what he eat. I like to win the Nike Park GC for him as a present this Christmas.Since he has no twitter account. has FB account Anthony Laurence Chan. He still doesn't want to post his latest picture in order to surprise his High School classmate on their reunion.

My Daughter's wedding at Balai Taal December 17,2011

      The set up at Balai Taal since the forecast on December 15,2011 a tropical storm will be arriving on December 17,2011 the day of the wedding so tents are being set up. But sad to say this is also the same day Typhoon Sendong hit Cagayan de Oro City and Iligan City were many people were killed.

                     The different Bouquet of flower for the entourage which they order from Holland Tulip.

                              This is my bouquet of flower nice arrangement.

                          This is my daughter bouquet as the bridemaid.

      The Brides bouquet of Flower.  Actually at the end the flower never get tossed due to the heavy rain and the ground are all wet even with the tent.

      The cute teddy bear holding tulips for the 2 flower girl. Many wants to take it home; but don't know at the end of the party who took the bear home.

      My daughter wedding dress the bodice is all made from fabric flower but poor dress got dirty at the end of the day because of high winds and rain. During pictorial because of the high wind my grand daughter had to seat on the train so that as to prevent it from being toss by the winds.

     The bride and groom table set up in the afternoon when it was not yet raining.

     The cupcake and cake by Joy San Gabriel really beautiful.. The top of the cake are real fruits and will post on my next blog what was inside the cupcake. Hmmm yummy really

A stay at Balai Taal for the wedding

      The entrance to the unit of Balai Taal.  The reason for the tent as there was a forecast of Typhoon Sendong which was a bit nice during the morning but bit freezing but started to rain hard during the reception at night.
 

     The ground floor living area all prep up for the Christmas Holiday with every room has a pot of poinsettia

      The dinning room table at the ground floor and has a very good lightning fixture. Will miss out on the decoration if I include their 52" LED TV my son is watching

      You will notice that the above table piece with mirror are different from the one first posted and they do try to be creative and not repetitive in their design  but still they concentrated on the poinsettia. This one from another unit in Balai Taal.

      This is the view of the master bedroom me and my husband was staying. There is  actually have 2 master bedroom in the second floor and another 2 bed room outside the main entrance hall.

      This is the 2 bedroom 3 of my kids are staying. This 2 beds has additional bunk beds below. Upon arrival my kids immediately dump their attire in the beds.

      The living room with a view of the other master bedroom which uses a sliding door.

      The entrance to the balcony which has a view of the Taal Volcano. Have tried many time to take a photo of the Taal Volcano but the picture always came out darker even in Mid afternoon.

     The night view of the garden  since it's raining hard during the night because of Typhoon Sendong. As you can see from the 1 st picture more tent are being set up for the reception the only problem since it's getting to wet every guest shoes are getting muddy even difficult if you're wearing a gown. I even experience my heels getting stuck from the mud.
