I was lucky to be chosen by Yabu to try their new dish the soft shell crab and was curious about the food since Soft shell crab is not readily available in our local market.
Yabu at Robinson Magnolia, the place is a bit smaller than their1st branch at megamall.
The same japanese cup inspire pattern.
The different condiment to add to you katsu.
The instructional manual in how to grind the sesame seed and adding the sauce for your dip.
Actually my second time to eat at Yabu and this is the first time that they offer wet towel to their guest.
Soft Shell Crab - P480.00
Which include rice, miso soup pickle vegetable, shredded cabbage, fruits (2 slices ofwatermelon and pineapple) and the dipping sauce.
My first impression of the soft shell crab is the upper top of the crab that is soft but never thought that the legs, claw and the interior of the crab are also that soft that you just have to eat it directly without the having to crack the shell anymore. Have to give this prize to my son who so love to eat crab that every crook and cranny of the shell crab he really cleans it out.
Chicken Katsu : P195
It include a breast of chicken katsu, potato croquette, shredded cabbage, japanese rice, edamame, fruits (pineapple and watermelon) and 2 dipping sauce.
All of Yabu's katsu are super delicious and crispy no wonder people kept coming back for more including me and don't mind the long line just to eat at Yabu's.
I also want to thank Miss Sol (resident Manager) and her assistant for making us feel at home at Yabu. That she really went from table to table asking her guest if they enjoy their meal. This kind of gesture is hardly visible now a days but they really make an effort even when the guest are started to pour in. No wonder that it's always full at Yabu not only are the food wonderful even their personnel are courteous.
