Sci- Fi Cafe discount vouncher

For 2 guy to use the voucher of P1,100 for P2,400 worth of food they started ordering this 2 pizza at a price of P700. The most expensive in the menu.

Follow below by the chicken and nacho which was a bit spicy with plenty of beef.

Again fried chicken with rice (below)

                                                    Onion Rings

Base on the food they order for the so called unlimited but with a food worth of P2,400 is not worth buying since there was leftover and they still have to pay an extra amount of P200 and they did not even reach the amount of P2,400 worth of food. It better to just order their regular price meal than the so call discount voucher. Look at the food they're humungous.

Project Pie: A revolution in Pizza

My sister in law came back from Canada and decide to have a get together. My sister whose son is working at Project Pie and just 2 blocks away from their home advice us to try Project Pie as it was always crowded.

The Entrance of Project Pie at Shaw blvd.

   The interior of Project pie
The service crew of Project Pie and my nephew at the middle who's job is to make the crust.

above is the machine that flatten the dough.

Each service crew man a certain counter. 1 for the pizza dough, next the choice of sauce from the tomato base to the olive oil base (white pizza). Afterward to the choices of cheese from Mozarella, feta, gorgonzola, ricotta etc.

Next is the meat topping from pepperoni, meatball, ham, bacon etc. then some veggie topping like Rosemarie, basil, caramelize onion etc.

In my own opinion I think they should label all the topping so that the line will be that long for the mere reason each customer will inquire what the topping are. Some topping maybe recognizable some might not be since some like the bacon and walnut are crumble.

The big menu board  where you have an option of the regular  classic pizza at P245 or the build your own at P285.00. If you are a choosy in your topping opt for the build your own.

                                       Some of their beer display

The soda, Nestea and the black china mist ice tea is at P65.00 but is refillable to your heart content

Mixed Greens - P225.00
Consist of Mixed green, chicken, Feta Cheese, red raisin, candied walnut w/ red Vinagrette dressing. Quite filling actually while waiting for our pizza to be cooked

Classic Ceasar salad- P165.00

Romain greens w/ plenty of crouton top w/ parmesan cheese and the classic ceasar salad dressing. Not sure if there is no spoon but it's a bit diffulty to get the crouton using the knife or the fork been falling down many times on me. Need more dressing also since 1 small cup is not enough to cove the greens so have to opt for the remaining rasberry vinagrette as dip

Above are the result of our very own creation. Everyone was excited to create their very own pizza and even have plan to overfill it to the max. Which at the end my other sister has difficulty in finished hers. Mine I opt for having it as take out and share it with my sons

As it gets later to the night the lines gets longer and what you see is just half of the line; therefore you have to be patience in waiting for your turn and finding a seat. If you happen to go with some friends you can also opt to take your picture so that it can be immediate posted at FB while waiting. sorry forgot to take a picture of it but if you have already seen the Jamba juice monitor it's identical.

Anchor Home Chef Cooking Class

I was doubtful of joining the contest of Anchor Home Chef cooking class for the reason that when my sister won the Anchor  butter maple flavor she was ask to pick it up at Eastwood City.  Since I saw the gallery that there a few joining might as well take the chance. And sure is the cooking class was just in Greenhills.

                                             the people from Anchor

                                    Our Chef instructor Chef Christa

We even have some snack of chocolate chip, cracker and ice tea

Each of the winner were give a bag which has an apron, towel and a disposable hair net

The making of the Blueberry muffin and the cream cheese frosting. And the finish product at the table setting

Red Rice with mushroom sauce above and below with panko breading and parmesan cheese topping

Chef Christa makes a stark naked omelet  with cherry tomato, cheese and aragula.picture above and she ask everyone to make their own creation and since the panchetta is expensive some of us cut it into half and below is my own version. Just eating the omelet make me feel full

Chef Christa share her Grandmother Fried Chicken recipe and which the task of frying them was given to me.

Chef Christa creamy carbonara which has egg in the sauce. Below is the actual cooking in order to prevent the egg from becoming scramble egg

                                     How to plate a pasta

Chef  Christa teaching how to make milk tea using Lipton brisk tea and anchor milk

Ice cold milk tea and on the right side top with whip cream and parmesan cheese for that salted cheese effect
Since my camera was low on battery have to wait for Anchor home chef posting of the group photo.

After the cooking and picture taking now comes the eating part.  Since everyone has made their own version of the omelet they have to find it for their respective sitting place.  Everyone is really busy taking picture. Nice table setting at chef Christa home.

Anchor even given us more giveaway of their products. Those are really specialty cream that you can find on ordinary supermarket including the big blog of cream cheese

The entrance going to Makan Makan which is now connected to Hotel H20

Sorry for the shaky picture since the elevator is still moving.  located at the 2nd floor can't go wrong with the sign.

A Sample of a wedding set up.

                                               Large Spaciou space

With an overlooking view of the Manila Bay.

The Bread section
The food below are those that was close in order to keep them warm.  Just to add some glimpse of the food so that the viewer has an idea of the food offering.  More food is being feature in the video.

                                                Pasta is super delicious

Potato wedge and French toast

Beef Kaldereta
Super Tender and super delicious. I highly recommend that you try them. Great with steam rice.
Yang Chow Fried Rice.
There is also plain steam rice.  Since it's a buffet prefer to stay off carbs  so that I can try all the food offering.

Fried Wanton

Mini Cheeseburger and hot dog

My wanton Mami, Beef Kaldereta and Fried Fillet of Fish.  When I started eating my noodle the wanton are super cold that I have to advice the waiter that if they know that their Mami soup was cold?  Which they later check that the soup warmer is defective and they have to change the soup warmer

My second round of food choices

my trio of dessert. vanilla pana cotta w/ strawberry topping, then the chocolate pana cotta and lastly the pineapple.  I like the pineapple while the chocolate is a bit strong to my taste that I have to drink water after every scoop.

My son second round of food.

A video of the food available at Makan Makan. Next time I'll go slower so that every food can be seen more clearer
