Tsoko-Nut Batirol ( SM North EDSA)

The frontage of Tsoko-nut Batiro. Guest can immediately check the menu and price (just as the guy in the picture is doing) before entering the store which offer fusion Filipino dish with a bit of a Spanish inspire

The above and below picture are the picture of the food being offer along with the price so that guest can immediately know that the food being offer by Tsoko-nut is within their budget or nut.

The Pasta menu which mostly are Filipino Inspire and which I try to order the Creamy Pesto malunggay with Shrimps (picture below) Never try Pesto pasta yet so try the malunggay which is locally grown and they did not use the usual basil leave italian use as pesto. Really delicious but a bit oiling at the bottom of the plate.

The larger mug is my original order order of their Tsoko-nut since I am sharing this prize with my sister she ask for another smaller mug. My only request for the tsoko-nut is that the guest add their own sugar. I felt that it's a bit sweet for my taste so I take out those I have not drank and added more water to it. But for me when I drink Chocolate Batirol I like to add some egg in it.

This one is for my sister take out the Leche flan cake.

This is the interior of Tsko-nut Batirol; while waiting for our order you can grab some magazine and do some reading. Very comfy as if you're not home.

Tsoko-nut Suman sa Latik really curious about it so I ask if there is a take out for 1 piece only to sample their product. Below picture is the suman sa Latik wherein they already pour the sauce on top of it.

The interior of the Suman sa Latik; this is almost as identical to the Biko being sold outside but instead of a very dry topping (which they use coco jam) the coconut glaze is is bit liquid.

Over all the experience in Tsoko-nut Batirol is not bad with some fusion of Filipino dish to make it a bit unique. And it you do not want the regular chocolate drink being offer by fastfood joint why not try the Tsoko-nut Batirol kind of chocolate drink.

My Son Shiro Shiro voucher from Cash Cash Pinoy

This is the frontage of Shiro Shiro at Roxas Blvd which is just between padre Faura St., and Pedro Gil St., Really Japanese.

The sitting area of Shiro Shiro; if your're feeling Japanese you can take off your shoes before entering the table because I saw 2 Japanese eating there that they cordially remove their shoes before sitting of this type of set up.

We both prefer to sit on this type of table setting so that we do not need to remove our shoes.

Shiro Shiro give emplasis to the Japanese garden that are situated between the aisle of the table that they even put some lightning to it plus the beautiful sand design with sea shell in it. Hope that it won't break if kid happen to jump in it.
The bar section of Shiro shiro. The White line you see it actually the Japanese garden beneath the flooring

Another Bar station but this one client can sit in the bar and enjoy their drinks.

Above is the menu for those who brought the Cash Cash Pinoy voucher. You only have to choose the main dish as the drink, miso soup and dessert will be the same.

                                                  The Table setting

Shiro Shiro ice tea almost the same taste as Tokyo Tokyo Red Ice Tea really delicious.

This is my order of the Crocodile steak with vegetable side dish. The shredded white part you see is actually the shoe string potato chip. Never thought that crocodile meat is is that tender just like pork. The sauce almost taste like they use oyster sauce. Not bad really only lacking is the rice.

My son Crocodile meat with rice which also consist of a sprinkling of nori wrapper and a fresh egg yolk. The egg will cook since the rice is still warm if your're afraid of the eccoli bacteria.

And lastly the dessert.  Coffee jelly top with vanilla ice cream Hmmm yummy  and you will still remember the taste. Will be trying some of their crocodile dish if happen to pass by there

California Pizza Kitchen (Trinoma Branch)

The picture below and above are the exterior of California Pizza kitchen thus you have an option of either dinning inside or outside. But I preferred to dined inside because there's air conditioning inside,

The actual kitchen (below) which is well lighted and clean you don't hear their staff shouting for orders. And those all offer wine to their guest.

The table setting and some of their recommended dish thus making every table well lit and at the same time great for an intimate dinner without making it too dark.

After placing your order your have a choice of drinks which I prefer ice water but you can also have an option of ice water without the ice cube since their staff are so kind to ask if I wanted some ice cubes. And the utensil which consist of a fork and a knife.

Below is my birthday present from California Pizza kitchen the Hawaii Canadian pepperoni Pizza (personal). Actually there are 4 choice to choose all personal size:  Bolognese Spaghettini, Tomato Basil spaghettini and the Roast Duck Salad (which I plan to order but advice that they run out of stock)

Below is my take out of 2 Thai Chicken Satay with peanut sauce. Actually I thought it was spicy but not. Yummy and great for the kids.

Eat a Date at Akiba Cafe

Akiba Cafe  the word Akiba come from the word Akihabara or Akiba-kei have also been characterized as being "interested in ruminating about domestic items and creating fan works based on these existing element The different coffee and Tea Blend of Akiba Cafe.

The Nutty Macadamia Kohi nice flavor and texture with a topping of sesame seeds above picture.  This is the regular size. The owner even even show us their large empty cup and I can feel that the cup is still warm. Now I can say the owner do pay attention with some of the cooking show like Hell Kitchen wherein Chef Ramsey say to put hot food in hot plate.

The 3 different Ice blend of coffee above

Akiba's Triffle Matcha Ice Blend the taste is really nice. If anyone have try the Starbuck Match Frappe the taste is awful. Don't know why my kids brought it and then gave it to me. This one definitely a must try and compare.

Akiba's Mochacinno ice Blend. Nice and much cheaper than the other famous coffee brand. The owner even advice that if you're diabetic you can ask their barista to lessen the sugar for the ice and hot drink.

The other ice blend with whip cream is the Chiru Yogurt. We all know that yogurt has a bit of sour flavor but this one has no such taste. This can be a good replace for my kids Starbuck Mocha Frappe.

The picture above is the Matcha latte this is my favorite and might be back for this smooth no after flavor but you will keep coming back for more. Congratulation to the owner this is my first taste of a good Matcha Tea blend.
Akiba's Matcha cream cheese, the filling is not that sweet but delicious and was match perfectly with a bit of sweetness of the crust and congratulation to the baker for a nice presentation of the cream cheese and you will see at the picture below that every openrice loves it.

I think this is the Almond Latte because of the strong almond smell and taste. This drink brings me back when I was a kid and got my taste of the sweet almond milk I drink in Chinatown. Really bring out the good old days. Yummy. Below is their refrigerated display and you will see that the Matcha cream cheese cake is their best seller as there is 2 whole cake being display

At the end of meeting Akiba's owner presented each Open ricer a Gift Card .

Below is the refrigerated display of their Cream Cheese and you will notice that there are 2 Match cream cheese cake. Simple it's their best seller. You should try it when you go to SM Megamall found the the 2 Level Bldg., A

Almost 3pm when I arrive at the store no client so I am free to take the picture of the store without disturbing any guest.

The picture above and below are some memorabilia they put on their store. Nice to remember the Good Old days.

The different Menu of Cheese Steak Shop below

Below is the different wine, coffee and sugar and for their client to choose which was display in front of the counter.

The different condiment for the client to choose: Ranch Dressing, Catsup, Mayonnaise either for dipping or topping for sandwiches.

The top view of my 7" Cheese Steak with pickle and pepper. I remember that they ask me if I wanted roast pepper but never thought that it's not the sweet Bell Pepper. A bit spicy but not that hot that you will want to find your drinks. Have to buy a second one just in case if it's delicious don't have to run out and buy have a back up sandwich if it's not enough for my kids.

Since 1 is free and the other is brought they gave me their Frequency card so that I can return and buy some more.  I truly recommend that you try their original Steak Sandwich ask the counter for other add on of the sandwich. To those who want to know how to re-heat their sandwich I did ask them to reheat in an oven toaster but with the foil cover so that the bread will not be toasted and the meat is still cold. But I can also add another suggestion if you do not have an oven toaster. You can also either steam it with the foiled cover so that the bun will not be soggy

Thanks Cheese Steak Shop for the Freebie might stop there again if I were in Makati
