Chef's Noodle Grand Launching on September 18,2012

I was able to get a VIP seat at Chef Noodle Launching on September 18,2012. There advice is at 11am but the food almost start at around 1:30-2pm.

Below the endorser of Chef Noodle Miss Grace Lee and the Korean Chef who created the dishes

Below are the floral arrangement given by their supplier on their opening day

The drummer who make the launching such festive.

The entrance to Chef's Noodle for the ribbon cutting. Most of the guest went inside first since there is no sitting are at University Mall and was later usher out for the ribbon cutting

Below is sitting area, a bit crowded since they have invited 50 people not even included the press people who were there to make some interview

Below the Cosmo Hunk the Semerand Twin who came in earlier and many were able to take a picture with them including me.

The snack which consist of potato chips and Nagaraya Nuts  plus some Ice Tea Chef's Noodle offer their guest while waiting  for Grace Lee.  The Korean Chef and Korean Owner were very early and have been waiting for hours to start.

Below is the media interview after the ribbon cutting.

Below are some of the food they serve their guest and was hoping that they serve the actual food from the Chef's noodle menu

Since some people have started to nibble some of the food while in line and luckily I did too if not my plate will not accommodate all that food.  Being Hungry almost forgot to take the picture of the last food which the sushi and the burger w/ sunny side up egg.  Chef's Noodle sushi does not use soy sauce and wasabi instead they use teriyaki sauce not bad actually even without the dipping sauce the sushi in itself is quite good. They also put some teriyaki sauce on top of the egg

Above and below are some of the dish they plan to serve are put on display. How cute it is to engrave some calligraphy on the egg.

Have to come back to Chef's Noodle for the real menu

Manang's Chicken nice marketing strategy

Lunch time at Makati Glorietta 4 Food Choices has many food vendor some has long que of client while others are few.  What set them from the rest?

Manang's Chicken counter  at the Food Choices 3/fl. of Glorietta 4 not quite a line actually maybe some people get bored with so many Buffalo wing brand.

                                         The menu board
                   Great!
Nice set up, client can have a taste of the sauces to put in their chicken either: regular, mild or spicy. Did try the mild and spicy. If you're not a spicy food fan stay away from it as it is really that spicy. And the sample pieces is not even that small. If you have been the exhibit at World trade center their sample testing are much smaller than this.

                 Great!
Since I plan to make a take out of Manang's Chicken I ask them not to put the sauce immediately. Sine the cook forgot about it. They offer me some potato chip  with Garlic Mayo dip for having to wait again at no extra cost. Now that's good marketing. Even after a long period of time the Potato chips are still crispy.

                  Great!
The 6 pieces chicken wing I order which cost P149.00 per order with the spicy sauce at the side.

2nd visit to Kape Pilato

Our second return to Kape Pilato since there is 1 last discount voucher left and believe me if ever plan  buy Kape Pilato discount voucher it worth every penny. The drink below is not included in the voucher.

The Milk Tea which cost only P60.00 a bit tall and cheaper than the milk tea selling outside except there's no add on in their milk tea. You can disgustingly taste the oolong tea.

My order of Cappuccino with a few dash of cinnamon. Price for a small cup is P65.00. Frothy and mild.

The Cheese Stick and Fries cost P135.00. Crispy outer crust and soft cheese inside with a dipping of Thousand Island.
Above is the Fish and Chip with Honey Mustard dipped price is P190.00. Fillet of fish fried to perfection crispy on the outside juicy soft fish on the inside.

My order of Arroz ala Cubana which cost P124.00. Mince pork, with dice carrot, raisin, corn and green pea in a sauce almost identical to a kalderata sauce. Accompany with a sunny side egg, rice and green salad and tomato topped with Thousand Island dressing and of course the fried saba. A big meal for 1 person actually.

Above is the Pilato Rice which cost only P50.00. Actually we never expect it to be that big maybe a small cup (coffee cup). Top with slice iceberg Lettuce and tomatoes. The rice has some dice carrot, tomato and my son said there seem to have some cheese in it.

First visit to Kape Pilato

It's Friday again  me and my son has to make a delivery in Laguna. My son has brought some discount voucher at Kape Pilato so we make a stop over there. Below is the main dining hall.
 Kape Pilato
1812 San Marcelino St
Malate, Manila l

                                              Kape Pilato table setting

Great! My son order a Cream of Squash which is top with croutons and bacon bits. Price is P70.00 per cup

Great! While mine is the Broccoli cream soup with lots of crouton. This one is very filling because while I was spooning it I can see bits of congee Not you're regular cream soup which also cost P70.00 per cup

                            Great!
Kape Pilato spring chicken which is fried chicken with rice and corn accompany with sweet chili sauce. The chicken is super crispy and it cost P190.00 per order. Great for kids who super like fried chicken.

Great! Great!
My order of chili garlic and cream pasta with 2 slices of bread which cost P170.00 for regular size. If you remove the bread then you can see the chili and the garlic pieces. Really spicy so be careful. My first thought are the chili flakes which are much smaller but never thought that they will put whole chili's in it. At least much easier to remove.

Those interested to buy Kape Pilato discount voucher  it worth every penny of it. Since has a part 2 for this

Johnny Chow (Resort World Manila)

                         Great!
While waiting for my daughter arrival at NAIA 3 we decided to eat at Johnny Chow. This is a casual dinning experience.
Great! The interior of Johnny Chow cozy even though the place is a bit small wherein they have extended some table along the hallway.

As you can see in the background the waitress wear different color wig, don't what's the concept but in my own opinion their food and styling is base on fusion of different food. Even their dish has a unique name as base on the food we order below:

The steam Cuapao price P150.00 per order. A bit too expensive since you can buy this at chinatown less than P100 for about 6-8 pieces per pack. Since my grand daughter loves Cuapao no choice but to order it for her.

                    Great!
Once Upon a Time in China, this dish which is compose of US Angus Rib Eye Beef and this one is a bit expensive P995.00. Beef is medium rare, tender and the gravy is super delicious to accompany the beef that my daughter ask for a second helping of the gravy

Great! Yang Chow fried Rice accompanied by 2 slices of Asado pork but the shrimp in the rice is really fresh as you can see that when cook it's opaque. The price for this is P295.00

                      Great!

Good Mornining Vietnam which cost P278.00 per order. Inside are ground pork and some slice of black mushroom accompany by 2 dip choices the vinegar dip or the sweet chili sauce. Both dip are great.

                         Great!
Green Ice w/ Lychees. Price : P108.00 and it's unllimited. On your first order you can see few pieces of Lychees but afterward the refill is just green tea which I think they added the syrup of the Lychees in can.

                           Great!
The service tea (which is free)chopstick and condiment set up with lighted candle

They call this dish Emperor Wenzong price is P330.00. Fried Chicken with Hoisen sauce dipping and a lychee salad. Chicken delicious and the skin is a bit crispy

                                 Great!
They call this dish Karma Duck Shitake dumpling price P295.00. The Wanton skin super crispy with shredded duck, mushroom and black fungus.

The food are super delicious even the service are great. The price of some of their food might be a bit expensive. Who's to complain it's Resort World, people has money to spend there.
