Doña Elena Cusinera Events with recipe

The last Event of Doña Elena I was not able to attend and was able to send my sister to the event  but this time MJ send me another email for their events  at Hemady Square where there will cooking demo, contest, raffle and product info.

The Banner to welcome the old and new cusineras

The different booth were there will be free tasting and contest. Miss trying the nacho using their whole tomatoes.

Price list
The product selling was way cheaper on their events so I decided to buy an Olive Oil and a pasta. Since I do not have a car cannot buy too many items. Maybe on their next cooking event will buy more of their products next year.

Below are the products of Doña Elena being sold.

Inside the event center where there are plenty of cooking enthusiasts. Got to make more friends and most of them love cooking demo since they also attend Nestle cooking class at Rockwell.

Raffle prizes.

stage for the cooking demo

The pasta booth where you can choose 1 of the 2 pasta with the tickets given for the events. Carbonara and my guess Bolognese. (Above)  At the same time you can also guess how many dry pasta in a jar and the winner was later was announce in the raffle portion. (below)

Doña Elena anchovy and sardines which guest have to choose 1 to be top in the bread with Olive Oil. I opt for the sardines since not sure if I will like the anchovy. Base on my knowledge from watching cooking show, they use anchovy to add saltiness on the food since when cook anchovy dissipate so you only get the taste.  My sardines was delicious (above and below)

She is the product Manager handling Doña Elena Olive oil, olives, caper, and the Spanish Sardines.

Tai One authentic Taiwanese Dish

Tai One has a contest on FB to post their Beef Noodles and I was one of the Lucky 100 and since my Mom birthday party was on November 2 at Greenhills Uno I did not bring my notification with me.  Afraid of not finding a parking in Greenhills my son want to get to Greenhills early which we did and no one was at the party yet so we decided to try the other dish of Tai One.

ground floor sitting area

When going up the stair the 1st thing I notice is their display of spices. Almost every space in the resto where decorated with spice jar.

The 2nd floor sitting area spacious and some part of it has a nice view of the nearby establishment

Below are some of the Menu of Tai One.

sauce condiment
Beef Congee
When you order Beef Congee in other chinese restaurant you will only see Beef Slices, but for Tai One they go a long way in adding more ingredients in their congee like dice carrots, slices of shitake mushroom and Black fungus.

Pork and Century Egg congee
Same for the Pork and century you will definitely see pork slices and dice century egg; but for TaiOne additional ingredients.

Pan fried dumplings
The top skin was super crispy and dipping it in black vinegar makes it more yummy.

Since I did not bring my notification of my winning went back to Tai One to get my Beef Noodle
Three Treasure Beef Noodle
The Three Treasure Beef Noodle have thinly slice beef, Litik and beef belly all so tender. It was even top with presevered vegetable.  A bit too rich for me since I still have some cough but overall it was delicious.

Beef Satay Rice
The Beef Satay rice was not that spicy so even kids will love them. It has scramble egg and thinly slice beef which is super tender.

Angel's Kitchen Pandenini

When pepper.ph announce the winner who will be trying the Pandenini of Angel's Kitchen makes me curious what was really a pandenini.

When I arrive at Angel's kitchen not sure which door I will be using but base on the design of the first entrance (above) table will not definitely fit there. Most of the items there are for take out like Christmas giveaway. The 2nd door is definitely the restaurant (below)

The place is really homey that there are some parents eating and talking maybe waiting for their kids from school like Xavier and ICA.  Most of the picture frame they posted are magazine review of their place.  They use paper as their table cloth which is great for small kids to scribble away.

                                     Above is their kitchen area

Pandenini Menu

Since the pandenini comes with a  coffee, ice tea or green tea. I opt for the coffee which is super strong and the milk is also warm.  The sugar they use is coco sugar which is good if your're diabetic.

romain lettuce & apple salad
This Salad is actually good for two since my son also won a free pandenini. The Lettuce and apple are crisp even when I ate it the next day the apple still did not darken in color.  Even without a dressing both complement each other. The salad is also included in the Pandenini order.

Chicken Teriyaki w/ wasabi mayo and grill pineab=pple
The chicken terriyaki is sweet and even added more sweetness with the grill pineapple. Since I love to put veggies on my sandwich this is where I put their romain and apple salad. Even healthier. Super Delicious and a must try items in their Merienda List.

Roast Beef w/ guyerene and horseradish
The Beef is super tender did not even taste the spiciness of the horseradish. Even my hubby who is a picky eater love this sandwich.

Green Tea
Just took a picture of one of their client with this green tea and it's cute that your tea will stay hot longer.
