C2 Classic Cuisine (Greenhill Branch) personalize service

I received a private message from C2 Classic Cuisine that they're having a 50% discount on July 3-4 on their food at their Greenhills Branch.  Since we have delivery in Pasig and at the same time to pick up my grand daughter so I advice my son to registered also so that we both can taste their classic Filipino Dish to kill the time.  It has been long to that I blog about food since most of my concentration has been with BIR and trying to know how to submit it online.

A spiral staircase to their 2nd floor. Everything is so classy and cozy. Even the Maitre D and the manager did make their round and ask how their food was and they really make us feel at home much better than their branch at the mall

The Center pieces not even sure if it's plastic  or not but nice been feeling it with my hand if feel soft but no smell.

Sumpia
When the food came out, we never thought that it will such a big serving. The Sumpia was delicious and crispy with it's vinegar dipping but what was well compliment to this dish is the sweet potato (I think). An all veggie spring roll. This is a must try dish if you were at any of their branches for those vegetarian.

Sisig Rice
Also a big serving but it does not have the smell you get when you you order a sisig. I think more onion and some added sili haba to remove the overpowering smell from the pig ears.  But my son love it so much.

Batangas Bulalo

I was trying to get a better shot for this to let the viewer see how big this soup serving was for the price of P450.00 (original price). Delicious but need more cooking time since some parts of the Beef is hard to remove from the bones or maybe a knife please?

A server came out asking if we order some noodle dish which we say no and advice us about a new dish that has no name yet and it was a complimentary dish from Chef  Gilbert Gomez. You can see clearly that there a a few ingredients in it; some toasted peanut and a few drops of sauce. They let us taste the dish and it was super delicious can't get over the taste of this noodle dish.  The server and the chef advice that it consist of the juice from the head of a shrimp with some bagoong cook in olive oil. I'm not a lover of bagoong actually but when you taste this dish you will immediately think that it's almost taste like kare kare because of the peanut sauce maybe this will be my most fave dish at C2 because I love kare kare. Maybe they should have let us taste it earlier and I would have order it for take out since I have already ask them to bill us.

Overall with the 50% discount our bill did not even reach P500. Maybe some reader should check them out since I overheard the chef and the manager that they plan to extend this promo for 1 week.

Signs that your accountant is not helping you but is interested with your money

It all started when I got a letter from BIR and my accountant has not even went there to fix the problem in the past. So me and my hubby personally went there to inquire. Now that I have known some of the BIR Staff  I have a chance to inquire about the procedure in paying my taxes so as not to incurred additional penalty.  Actually most of them are friendly and will answer all your question.  Hope this service will continue so that most taxpayer will not be afraid to talk to them or as what they are being picture as.

Signs that you might get penalty from Bureau of Internal Revenue due to the blunder of your out house accounting firm:

1)  The accounting service ask you to pay for the books of account and they did not even give it to you start questioning them  Base on the seminar from BIR the books of accounts should always be in the store or in your office where you will input the sales and purchases or any additional info.  When BIR comes knocking or checking in there will be a penalty of P1,000. BIR now require that you also input this Info in a CD or USB or both depending on the Regional District requirement.\

2). Every time your accountant ask you to pay some taxes like VAT, withholding tax etc. and they did not give you a hard copy (paper) or CD/ USB, start questioning because BIR might not input some of them and when they ask you to bring the missing copies at least you have your hard copies.

3) Some accounting service are lazy a good example is the case of Zoren Legaspi having 3 tin number. Transferring TIN number from one city to another is very tiring and you have to go back and forth from different RDO.  Sometimes you even have to wait for a long period of time just for the approval.  Since BIR has started going digital I don't get it why I should bring the paper from 1 office to another and bringing it to the other RDO.

If some of the above mention you have already encounter started closing the old business name and make a new one. The process maybe long since you have to retire your business name with the Mayor's Office afterward with the BIR so that you know if the accounting firm you hire really made those tax payment.  If the below penalty is more than what your accountant is asking you then you know they are also getting a commission from your penalty.

                         PENALTY:
Minimum is P1,000.00 for every mistake or unpaid tax
Maximum is P25,000.00

I know some of us have no accounting background but base on my inquiry BIR is giving seminar to new and old businesses and it falls on a friday depending on the RDO some have it every Friday and some the last Friday of the month. In my conversation while waiting at the BIR office they also know that some accounting firm have scam some of their clients  So be vigilant and start doing your work at least if the Bureau of Internal Revenue come knocking you know you have all the papers and you will not be penalize for whatever papers are missing.

To avoid any line in filing your copies and payment to the Bureau of Internal Revenue do not wait for the deadline or the que is really long with the bank and the submission of form  I submitted all my form at the first week of the month. And if you''re the person who like the last minute payment BIR also open some online payment for the bank; you have to inquire with their office about it. They also have an eBIR form for you to complete and print out for payment to the bank then afterward submit it to BIR. Just be careful in printing as there is still a glitch in their form (print page 1 or 2 and on legal paper in your printer as trial print out or else the unnecessary cell will come out also)

Below are the list of payment to be made if you can finish it all you can submit them at the same time without have to wait for the deadline.

Keep all your record (receipt and purchases) for 3-5 years to be safe.  Why I am writing this because this same accounting firm might blunder some of their client especially in the Divisoria area. And I have experience all of them at the same time.

Take Note:  Even if no taxes was paid or no operation was made you still have to continue passing those necessary paper or you will incur a penalty of P1,000

Just Hope that BIR can print out a complete computation of every taxes so that they can be compare with what the college and universities are teaching about accounting.  It's also a a guarantee to every tax payer that when any question arises from BIR we all have a knowledge that what we did is correct and not as what some unscrupulous BIR examiner wanted.

how to have a continuous supply of lettuce

The first time I brought the hybrid Lettuce from the Gourmet Farm in Cavite, I now have a continuous supply of lettuce and I don't even need to buy the seeds.

The picture above is when the weather starting to change the lettuce will automatically started to bloom some flower and stop producing the lettuce green. Don't cut the flower you have to wait for the flower to change from yellow to white feathery like bloom this is where the seeds are hidden.  You can start picking some of the seeds by squeezing it from the stem of the flower to the white parts. Mostly you can get about 3-5 seeds per flower.

Above is what the seeds (black color) look like after squeezing it from the white feathery flower. You can either plant them or store them aside for future planting

Above is the seedling after planting it. Wait for it to grow more leaves before transplanting it to an individual container. (below)

Picture below is after I transplant them to their individual container.  Now I can just cut the lettuce I needed for my sandwiches.  Again if the weather changes the cycle will repeat itself so its up to you when you want to plant the seeds.

how to grow your own cabbage even from disposable plastic container

I have been reading from House and garden idea for you on FB and website about planting your own cabbage but the problem with their instruction is to put the stem in water which I did twice and they all wilted away twice and I even change the water regularly. Since we always throw away the hard part of the cabbage stem maybe it's time to plant them and have our very own vegetable garden.  What I use are the take out plastic cup for soup which i use a not knife to put 3 holes at the bottom. With some of the old soil I ask my son to buy some compost at Ace Hardware and mix them.

Since I don't use up all the cabbage but tear them whenever I wanted to add in my dish. So when I almost reach half of the stem I cut it off then cut off the dark part of the stem at the bottom so that they will grow easily and put the bottom part of the stem in the soil  The picture at the bottom took almost 3 weeks to start growing and it seem that there are almost 4 head of cabbage which are growing upward. My next move is to experiment in dividing them so that a full head of cabbage will appear and not upward reaching for the sun. Have start making some slices which I will post next time.

Below is the top of a cabbage which grow much faster around 1 weeks since we don't usually use the smaller leaves on the top that they got a much taster boost in growing. As you can see on both picture the green are much darker unlike the 1 we buy from the wet market and supermarket which has a light green color.  Both container are not even expose to full sunlight yet still waiting to see more roots in order to transplant it to a much bigger pot.  Now I just have to tear the leave I needed for my dish and I know there is no chemical added to it.
