My hubby been telling to make a trip to Singapore and visit my daughter so finally the time to visit arrive. Since my daughter has been working none stop and has not try Tim Ho Wan in Singapore; her 1 week leave gives her, her brother and me a time to bond at Tim Ho Wan
Tim Ho Wan at Plaza Singapura is really a bit small as compare to Philippines Big Restaurant. No wander there was this so call feeding frenzy. Like Hongkong and Singapore restaurant are mostly crowded during lunch and dinner hour. In order to avoid this especially if you're a tourist go there at around 2-4pm when there is still school and office hour.
Above is the news paper clipping of their opening day while below is the queue. It's a good thing here in the Philippines there are many dimsum houses the only thing that will make a queue here if there is a discount or promo

Congee with Lean pork, century egg and salted egg |
A small bowl and not even great for sharing a spoon or two
|
Bake BBQ Bun |
A Thin layer of bun with BBQ pork inside bake till golden brown so soft but not as full as the picture depict it. The 1st impression is that it look like our local asado bread but when cut a much thinner crust and a juicier meat inside. No wonder this is their best seller.

Wasabi Salad prawn dumplings |
It's like another version of the Hakaw but instead it uses the wanton wrapper, which was wrap twice and fried and then spread with some wasabi sauce. The wrapper was really crispy and the Wasabi sauce actually was not even that spicy so kids can also enjoy this dish. Below is what is actually inside big juicy prawn.

siomai with quail egg |
Here in the Philippines we have a much better version of it 1 whole quail egg stuff below the siomai

Liver Rice Roll |
We did not try the regular rice roll since we have try the local brand; so we order the Liver rice roll to know if there is any special Nothing special since it really taste like liver. If you don't like liver don't order this one. I prefer another rice roll from another store wherein they have scallop rice roll really delicious.
