Hiang Kee Seafood Restaurant, Johor Bahru, Malaylsia

Since my daughter has an advance booking of a Hotel in Johor, Malaysia for our trip to Legoland she has already made research where to eat and she found so many recommendation for Hiang Kee Seafood Restaurant So after our trip from Legoland our Dinner stop was Hiang Kee which is a about 2-3 block from our hotel. In case you do not have enough ringgits they will also accept Singapore dollar.

Hiang Kee Seafood Restaurant located in Taman Sri Tebrau Hawker Centre is a popular seafood haunt of many Singaporeans patron. Below is the menu board

The table setting is simple the red packet is the wet tissue paper. Since Malaysian loves to eat chili they put 2 kind of chili as condiment.

Fried Rice
Their Fried Rice is like our local Yanchow Fried Rice and it cost RM6.00  only

The Cereal prawn is sweet and crunchy even without the prawn we also finish the cereal in the plate. Price is RM35.00

Since my daughter knows that his brother loves crab she order the large size which at the end was made for take out as his brother midnight snack at the hotel. Price RM221.00
Butter Crayfish
The butter crayfish was cook in buttered and bread crumb  that it almost look like cereal.  There was about 4 big crayfish cut in half. Below is how it look like. Taste just like prawn but much bigger. Price: RM56.00

sugar cane juice
We order our drink from the adjacent stall and see how big their large Sugar cane juice look like. It's not like our Sugar Cane juice in the Philippines which is much darker and sweeter.

The hawker Center in Malaysia and Singapore are much cleaner than our wet market  food center. Hope that our local government can encourage to make a hawker center so that people can go eat at a much cleaner food than those in the sidewalk or street vendor where the dust and pollution is added to the food.

Hawker food center is much cheaper than mall food court.
